Changing PHP version in cPanel


Changing the PHP version, configured extensions and basic settings is easy in cPanel using the built in PHP Version Selector.

1. In the main cPanel screen, scroll down to the Software section and click on the Select PHP Version link

2. From the following screen, select the version of PHP that you want to use, and click the "Set as current" button.

3. Once you have set the version, you can then edit the enabled extensions for PHP.

4. If you click on the "Switch to PHP Options" link on the right hand side of the page, you can change options like memory_limit and post_max_size
